Mr Bhagwati Prasad Agarwala, born in 1948 in Tinsukia, Assam, is a distinguished entrepreneur and industrialist who has made substantial contributions to the business landscape of Northeast India. Raised in a business-oriented family, he developed an entrepreneurial spirit early on, managing his family’s petrol pump businesses at the age of 15. After graduating in Mechanical Engineering in 1971, he began his successful career by establishing North Eastern Steel Pvt. Ltd. in 1984, which marked the beginning of his ventures in steel, manufacturing, and allied industries.

Over the years, Mr Agarwala expanded his business interests, founding several companies across various sectors, including North Eastern Metals, Byrnihat Ispat, P.D. Pipe, and Bhagwati Udyog Cements Ltd., which significantly contributed to the region’s industrial and economic development. His legacy of resilience and innovation serves as an inspiration to future entrepreneurs, demonstrating that success is built on ambition and humility.

Sidharth Sureka

Managing Director

Siddharth Sureka, born on 6 October 1977 in Shillong, Meghalaya, completed his early education at Disneyland School and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Banking from Gauhati Commerce College in 2000. Guided by the philosophy of “simple living, high thinking,” he is recognised for his discipline, determination, and strong work ethic.

Hailing from a family of entrepreneurs, Siddharth has expanded the family legacy across industries such as building materials, consumer goods, steel, and renewable energy. Under his leadership, ventures like P D Plastic (caps and preforms), P D Savera (AAC blocks), Eastern Silicon (ferro silicon), and Bhagwati Udyog Cements (renewable energy) have thrived.

A forward-thinker, Siddharth has invested in solar power, establishing 5 MW plants across Assam, and is now focusing on sustainable initiatives, including plastic waste management.

Vandita Sureka

Bipin Kumar

CA Bipin Kumar, Lead Partner at Parik & Co., a distinguished Chartered Accountancy firm in Guwahati, brings over 25 years of expertise in auditing, finance, taxation, and regulatory compliance. A science graduate, he specialises in consultancy for startups and industrial ventures.

He began his career with Kesoram Industries, Kolkata, focusing on taxation settlements and corporate restructuring, and has since advised major PSUs, banks, government bodies, and global-funded projects across diverse industries.

Known for his dedication and expertise, CA Bipin Kumar is a trusted name in consultancy and compliance.

Arun Kumar Jaiswal

CFO

Arun Kumar Jaiswal, a resident of Guwahati, Assam, is a seasoned accounting and finance professional with a commerce degree from Gauhati University (2004). Since 2006, he has served as Accounts Head at Sureka Group, overseeing companies across steel, building materials, consumer goods, and renewable energy sectors, including North Eastern Steel Pvt. Ltd., North Eastern Metals, and Bhagwati Cement Udyog Ltd.

Proficient in Tally (ERP, Prime, Edit Log) and Microsoft Office, with a Diploma in Computer Applications, Arun specialises in TDS/TCS data management, financial statement preparation, reconciliations, and team oversight.
